Snow was great until edge of treeline where we saw cracking wind slabs on small features. The N facing alpine slope above looked to have widespread wind effect. A few hand pits showed easy shear of a thin wind slab a few cm down, and a medium shear about 15cm down in somewhat softer, but still cohesive wind slab.
