Description
Our skier was at the top of Miner's Gully, on his third turn, the slope released from the top going straight to ground revealing a very loose facet layer. It carried him to the bottom of the gully. He said he managed to stay on top for most of the way and it was not until the end that he got covered. Fortunately, the avalanche spat him out after he went over a 4-5 foot drop. We found him at the bottom of the gully with no injuries and walking.
