Comments
We dug an approximately 2.5 meter deep pit to checkout the multiple layers in the snowpack this season so far. When performing an isolated column test on a south facing aspect below the black tusk, we found propagation ~30cm deep on the 6th hit when using my whole shoulder. We also found a 4cm thick rain crust approximately 150cm deep.
We decided due to the stormy conditions and variable snowpack to not ski slopes over 35 degrees.
