Comments
Skied solar aspects below treeline and treeline. No signs of instability on our skin up except for numerous small dry loose avalanches out of steep terrain on all aspects, alpine and treeline. We had NE wind in the morning with moderate blowing snow off ridges, switching to SW at midday. Decided to turn around near the top of treeline as there was about 10cm of duck fluff over pencil hard wind affected snow that made for less than ideal skinning. Had a good ski down avoiding terrain traps as the recently faceted snow was power sloughing!
