- Pre-Trip Planning
The 2013-14 Backcountry Avalanche Workshop (BAW) road tours will be targetting northern BC and the coast/Vancouver Island this fall.
Sponsored by Columbia Brewery, the BAW is a free, 2-hour, evening presentation delivered by a CAC forecaster on avalanche awareness open to any backcountry recreationist. This is a great pre-season tune-up where you can refresh your skills or learn new ones. Please check back as the schedule (venue, dates and times) will be updated through the season.

We also wish to thank the local groups who sponsor venues and the on-the-ground organizers from the communities who are integral to the success of the individual workshops.
