This year's Backcountry Avalanche Workshops were a huge success. With the support of Columbia Brewery, we were able to present these in six communities: Vancouver, Calgary, Whitehorse, Fernie, Prince George and Grande Prairie. We had an excellent speaker line-up on the theme of "terrain" and the feedback from these well-attended workshops was overwhelmingly positive. Many of the venues were standing room only. Below are some examples of the feedback we collected from exit surveys:

We may be able to have some more Backcountry Avalanche Workshops in the spring of 2010 and for sure they will return in November 2010. Check back for more details.
