This winter the CAA is conducting an Avalanche Operations Level 1 course for the Russian Mountain Guides Association. This course will be combined with an ACMG Assistant Ski Guide touring training in an effort to assist them in their pursuit of developing a guides training program. This program will be based on the internationally-recognized professional standards of the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA).
