Observation Guidelines and Recording Standards for Weather, Snowpack and Avalanches (OGRS) is the field observation technical guide for professional avalanche safety operations and research in Canada. OGRS describes the terminology, techniques and encoding recommended by the Canadian Avalanche Association for taking and recording observations of the weather, snowpack and avalanches.
