Weather Resources

Mountain weather services in support of avalanche risk management programs in Canada.

Please see the Mountain Weather Forecasts section for information on our subscription based custom mountain weather forecasts including text based and graphical products.

The rest of the pages in this section are a comprehensive selection of professional level web-based weather forecasting resources.  They require technical training for their proper use and interpretation.  These links form the basis of the CAA's Introductory and Advanced Weather Training for Avalanche Workers program.  These courses are open to anyone with an interest in winter mountain weather but are focused towards professional level avalanche work.  Please visit the course pages for more information.
